ADOT says there will be no highway closures over the Labor Day Holiday Weekend. Drivers should be prepared for heavier traffic and unscheduled incidents along state highways. No closures are scheduled through late Monday night. Motorists should pack extra drinking water and other supplies in case of an unscheduled closure. Ten people were killed in a total of 10-crashes along highways and local roads over the Labor Day weekend in Arizona last year. That number was down slightly from 12 deaths in 2019.
