Prescott Valley is bringing retired DPS Director Colonel Frank Milstead to its Police Department on a consulting basis. Milstead will spend several months with the department as the town works on finding a new Police Chief. Town Manager Gilbert Davidson says he wants to make sure the Town sets a level of expectation and gains an understanding of how officers view and feel about the department. He feels the Colonel can give recommendations and a potential roadmap to make sure the town continues to have a department that serves the community with excellence.
