The Oak Creek Watershed Council is hosting a “Pickin Up in the Pines” event on September 15-th. Officials say help is needed to clean up heavily used camping areas in the forests that are near the headwaters of Oak Creek. Interested volunteers are asked to meet at Forest Road-237 just outside of Flagstaff at 9-am. For more information contact the Council.
