Tuesday afternoon, Sedona Fire responded to an injured swimmer who hit their head on a rock at Slide Rock State Park in Oak Creek Canyon. Fire Marshal Jon Davis says the swimmer was taken to FMC for treatment of minor injuries. This is a reminder to everyone of how slippery the rocks become this time of the year. Davis says everyone is encouraged to exercise caution when walking, playing, or recreating near the creek.
