The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for much of the state through Saturday evening. Ample monsoon moisture will produce periods of widespread showers and thunderstorms through Saturday. Areas of heavy rainfall will likely lead to flash flooding in washes, creeks, and poor drainage areas. Burn scars from recent wildfires will be especially prone to flash flooding.
