Just before 7-am Saturday morning, Highlands Fire crews responded to a wildfire about 2-miles south of Kachina Village. The first crew found a 1/2-acre fire burning and quickly knocked it down. Forest Service crews also responded and spent several hours putting out the remaining hot spots.
