Central Arizona Fire responded to a structure fire in the 4700-block of Gloria Drive in Diamond Valley Tuesday afternoon. Spokesman Eric Merrill says crews arrived to find the backside of a home fully involved in flames. Crews performed a fast attack on the fire and quickly extinguished it. He says the fire spread from the back of the house to the front of the home causing extensive damage. Merrill says the occupants were not home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
