Warm and windy this week

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff is predicting dry and warm weather this week. Today is expected to be a quiet weather day across northern Arizona with light winds and above normal temperatures. Tuesday, a high pressure system over the state will move to the east, allowing windy conditions Tuesday through Friday. The strongest afternoon southwest winds will be on Wednesday with gusts up to 35-mph possible. Temperatures will remain unseasonably warm around 10-to-15-degrees above normal through Saturday. Toward the end of next weekend, a deeper trough may bring temperatures back to around or slightly above normal and bring another round of southwest winds.
