The National Weather Service in Flagstaff says this summer’s monsoon was one of the driest on record for some areas. It was Prescott and Show Low’s driest monsoon on record. Prescott picked up just over 2-inches of rain; the normal is 7.5. Show Low recorded 2.22-inches; their normal is 7.18. Page had their 2-nd driest monsoon on record. They recorded just over a third-of-an-inch; the normal is 2.5. Payson had their 8-th driest monsoon on record. They received 3.6-inches this year; the normal is 7.
