YCSO responded to a single vehicle fatal crash Tuesday evening on Highway-15 near Kirkland. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says the arriving deputy found a passenger vehicle sitting on its collapsed roof. Deputies saw a man, in his 60’s and alive, near the driver’s side of the vehicle laying on his back. Next to the man was a 60-year old female obviously deceased based on observed injuries and lack of a pulse. D’Evelyn says the man claimed the woman was the driver and they had just left a bar. He indicated the woman had, had a few beers and had taken some medication. During an argument on the way home, the woman slammed on the brakes and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll. The names of those involved have not yet been released.
