The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Fire Weather Watch for Friday and Saturday due to strong winds and low relative humidity. The watch is for most of northern Arizona. This includes locations near Doney Park, Flagstaff, Fredonia, Grand Canyon, Jacob Lake, the North Rim, Page, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Sedona, Seligman, Shonto, Tuba City, Valle and Williams. It also includes portions of the Coconino, Kaibab and Prescott National Forests. South and southwest wind gusts up to 40-and-45-mph are in the forecast both days. Any fire that starts has the potential to spread rapidly.
