Flagstaff man crashes into police car multiple times

Saturday afternoon, Flagstaff Police responded to a call in a parking lot on Cedar Avenue of a man trying to start fights with citizens. Officers encountered 23-year old Jerrad Bigman driving erratically in the parking lot, striking a building and light pole. When Bigman saw police, he fled into the Shadow Mountain Neighborhood. An officer that tried to block Bigman’s escape from the area, was struck head-on twice and then a third time, which disabled the patrol car. Bigman was finally stopped and taken into custody in the area of North Hamblin, but not before he struck another person’s vehicle. Bigman was jailed on felony charges. The officer involved in the head-on collisions was taken to FMC for non-life threatening injuries.
