DPS remembered a fallen Trooper Sunday; the 4-th one killed in the line of duty this month. On October 20-th, 1987, Trooper Bruce Petersen was in pursuit of a speeding vehicle on Highway-61 near Concho when his patrol vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Petersen was 30.
