Sedona Fire responds to plane crash at Sedona Airport Wednesday morning.

Wednesday morning, Sedona Fire crews responded to an airplane crash at the Sedona airport. Fire Marshal Jon Davis says the 1964 Beechcraft S35 Bonanza crashed immediately after takeoff. The pilot of the single engine V -Tail plane says he lost power and aborted takeoff after which the plane came to rest on the adjacent taxiway. Davis says the reason why the plane lost power are unknown at this time. He says the plane’s landing gear was sheared off due to the hard landing. No one was injured and both occupants had safely self-extricated.
