Icy conditions and a two vehicle crash closed Highway-179 at around 7-am this morning. While DPS handled the crash and traffic, ADOT crews worked on de-icing the bridges. DPS officials say the crash resulted in no injuries. Motorists should stay alert for icy conditions throughout this week and coming weekend as one storm moves out and another larger one moves in. We’ll return to snowy weather Wednesday night through at least Friday afternoon.
