Icy conditions have closed Highway-179. DPS says at 7-am a two vehicle crash occurred which initially shut down the road, but then it was discovered that the bridges in the area had iced over. ADOT crews are currently trying to clear the highway to make it safer. There is no estimate as to when the highway will be reopened.
