A Flood Watch is in effect for Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon. The National Weather Service in Bellemont says we can expect significant rain and potential flooding when widespread and steady rains move in western Arizona (Coconino/Yavapai Counties) Thursday morning, and spread east through the day. The heaviest precipitation is expected from Thursday afternoon through early Friday morning. Precipitation will taper off from west to east through the morning on Friday. Additional precipitation, with a much colder storm system with lower snow levels, is possible Sunday through Monday of next week.
