Ice and a Semi with wrong directions caused the closure of Highway 89A in Jerome early Monday morning. Jerome Fire officials say they were called out to a semi that had made a wrong turn and was unable to turn around due to narrow roads and icy conditions. The blockage caused the road to be closed for almost two hours. No injuries were reported.
