The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors and County Public Works has scheduled the next community cleanup for Black Canyon City. Those participating can drop their unwanted items off free of charge at the Black Canyon City Transfer Station between 8-and-4 on February 27-th, March 1-st, 2-nd, 6-th, 8-th and 9-th. Accepted items include household appliances, bagged trash, automotive batteries, unmounted tires, furniture, and yard trimmings. The county hopes residents will take advantage of the time to create defensible space around their homes.
