Sunday morning, Copper Canyon Fire responded to a single vehicle accident on northbound I-17, south of Camp Verde. Officials say prior to arrival, a 2-nd vehicle was reported to have wrecked near the first one. Upon arrival crews found both vehicles had rolled and wound up about 12-feet from each other. One vehicle contained 4 people while the other had 6. A total of 6 people were taken to the hospital with 4 others refusing medical treatment. It’s believed the crashes were weather related.
