Cottonwood Police arrested a man and woman in stolen vehicle Saturday. A Cottonwood Officer conducted a license plate check on a vehicle with a Texas license plate. The 95 Chevy Camaro was reported stolen and the driver, 33 year-old Ashley Jacobson of Arizona tried to evade the officer by pulling into a driveway on S. 18th Street near Mingus Avenue.) Sgt. Monica Kuhlt says Jacobson returned to Arizona from Texas in the stolen vehicle. She was arrested for being in possession of the stolen vehicle as well as for a warrant out of Texas for child neglect and a misdemeanor warrant out of Cottonwood. Her passenger, 32-year old PJ Proctor of Texas was also arrested on warrants.
