Study says 76% of Americans feel they’ll be a victim of identity theft or cybercrime

A recent study conducted by ERP Maestro shows 76% of Americans believe it’s inevitable that they will be victims of identity theft or cybercrime with nearly 48% not concerned about it. A survey was performed on 2,000 people to learn more about identify theft and cybercrime in America in 2019. Some of the highlights include 37% of Americans say they’ve already been victims of cybercrime and identity theft and 57% believe if something happens, the damage will just get reversed. The top states for identity theft include Michigan at number-1, Florida number-2 and California number-3. Arizona falls in 10-th place for identity theft or cybercrime.
