Cottonwood residents who are Federal employees and have not been getting paid due to the partial government shutdown can receive help with their Water and Sewer utility bill payments until the federal government reopens and they receive their back pay. Customer service representatives can work with residents affected by the partial government shutdown. Affected customers are encouraged to call utilities at 634-0186 to start the process. Once Federal employees receive their paychecks, they can make their payment in full or setup a payment arrangement. All late fees will be waived and services will not be turned off for these customers during the deferment period.
