Cottonwood Oak Creek School District is asking for the public’s help with an equipment shortage. School officials say they are in need of sports equipment for the new teams being created due to the restructure of the schools. They say they now have more teams who can play each other, but don’t have enough equipment to make that happen. Anyone wishing to donate items; such as bats, baseballs, softballs, pitching/catching gear, basketballs, soccer balls, nets, golf clubs, and volleyballs, can drop them off at the District Warehouse located at the bus barn on Quail Trail in Cottonwood.
