Distracted driving continues to be an ever growing danger on Arizona’s and the Nation’s roadways. Yavapai County spokesman David McAtee says the Arizona Distracted Driving Awareness Summit, scheduled for January 23-rd in Phoenix, will bring together citizens, law enforcement agencies, legislators and elected officials, as well as numerous other state and national organizations to focus on reducing and eliminating the growing crisis of distracted driving. The summit will feature a closed panel discussion with focus on engagement and cooperation between citizens and governmental officials. Discussions will include corporate policies, driver education, incident research and state and municipal ordinances. For more information visit: drivesmartarizona.com
