Just before 10 this morning, DPS responded a vehicle fire on southbound I-17 near the McGuireville exit. Spokesman Quentin Mehr says a trailer being hauled by a semi caught fire. He says the driver was able to unhook the trailer from the power unit. The fire was quickly extinguished though the outside lane of traffic remained blocked for over an hour. No injuries were reported.
