Just before 4-pm Tuesday afternoon, DPS responded to a two vehicle collision on northbound Highway 89A outside of Cottonwood. DPS officials say a passenger vehicle, driven by a 21-year old female from Cottonwood, rear ended a work truck, driven by a 67-year old male from Sedona. Though her vehicle received major damage, the woman received only minor injuries and was transported to VVMC for treatment. Traffic was stopped for about 30 minutes before being allowed by on the shoulder until the scene was cleared.
