Area National Forests will start selling Christmas tree cutting permits this month. Coconino, Prescott and Kaibab National Forest permits will be available at $15 each and are limited to one per household on a first-come, first-served basis until sold out. A map will be provided with each permit, as well as the stipulations and limitations regarding the size and type of tree that can be cut. Check with your local forest for specific sale dates. Permit holders have until December 24th to cut their tree.
