The City of Flagstaff has published a draft Climate Action and Adaptation Plan for community review and is hosting an open house tonight and Thursday to review the draft with the community. The topic for tonight’s meeting is Energy; Economic Prosperity and Recreation. Thursday’s topic will be Transportation, Waste and Consumption. Each meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Murdoch Center on Brannen Avenue. The goal of the open houses is to gather feedback from the community. Local experts will present and highlight the importance of tackling climate change in the select areas.
