The Flagstaff Police Department is investigating the death of a woman found in the Rio De Flag near the 100 block of East Butler Avenue. Sgt. Cory Runge says a passerby discovered the woman’s body in the water around 5:30 pm. The deceased woman has been identified as Vanessa Lee, 32 years of age, of New Mexico. Cause of death is unknown at this time and is being investigated by Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office.
