Monday morning, Prescott Valley Police responded to a call regarding a stolen vehicle located in the Safeway parking lot near Windsong Drive and Pav Way in Prescott Valley. Spokesman James Risinger says the investigating officers discovered 32-year old Justin Villapando,of Prescott Valley, 39-year old Daniel Rivard, of Phoenix, and 34-year old Heather Harris, of Prescott, in a 2002-Chevy Tahoe.The investigation discovered that 35-year old Carlos Quinones,of Camp Verde, who had left prior to police arrival, had stolen the Tahoe from Peoria and taken it to Prescott Valley to sell. Further investigations revealed that 27-year old Sabrina Hunt, of Prescott Valley, was assisting Quinones in the attempt to sell the stolen vehicle. All five suspects were arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail on multiple felony charges. Police officials are warning residents that crimes can occur anywhere at any time. Lock your vehicles, do not leave any items of value inside and remove garage door openers so suspects don’t have access to your house.
