Motorists should expect smoke impacts on Highway-87 in the area of Clint’s Well today. Coconino National Forest crews began a 5,000 acre prescribed burn project earlier this week and burning is slated to continue through Friday. ADOT officials say travel is slow-going through the area due to smoke drifting across the highway. Short delays and slower speeds should be expected.
