740 fatal crashes since January 1-st

The number of fatal crashes in Arizona has climbed significantly in the past few weeks. Currently, ADOT says there have been 740-fatalities due to crashes since January 1-st. Officials hope the number won’t hit last year’s record number of 1,000. Officials say more than 90% of crashes are caused by driver behavior. Speeding, impairment, distraction and aggressive driving are leading factors in fatal crashes.
