A Prescott man wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon turned himself in to YCSO over the weekend. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says 41-year old David Pearsall has since been released on a $20,000 bond. It’s alleged that Pearsall walked into a campsite near Drake and beat a man on the head and face with a hardened piece of wood, causing serious injuries. The attack was reportedly unprovoked. Pearsall fled the campsite when witnesses confronted him. The victim was flown to FMC for treatment.
