According to the USDA Forest Service there are currently 140-wildfires burning on 1.6-million acres in the US. Resources dedicated to these fires include 27,000 personnel, 1,800-engines, 24-airtankers and 180-helicopters. Federal, tribal, state and local wildland fire agencies, international partners and the Department of Defense are mobilizing as many resources available.
