Two schools in Flagstaff vandalized, suspects sought

Wednesday morning, Flagstaff Police received a report of vandalism from the staff at Killip Elementary School. Sgt. Cory Runge says Mount Elden Middle School had also been broken into and damaged. He says this is the second incident at Killip Elementary School within a week. The incident involved extensive damage thus causing the school to be closed for the day along with food service programs. Runge says investigators have some evidence, including video surveillance. A reward for up to $1,000.00 is being offered for tips leading to the arrest of the individuals responsible for these crimes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Flagstaff Police Department or Silent Witness.
