Sedona Fire officials say the Surveyor Fire is currently burning in Surveyor Canyon in Oak Creek Canyon. The lightning caused fire has been burning since Sunday. (Yesterday) Tuesday, the fire breached the containment line which, according to officials, was predicted based on the topography and expected fire behavior. Forest Service estimates the fire at under 10 acres. Officials say there are no threats to any structures at this time and they are working to develop plans for how to best handle this fire.
