Saturday, Verde Valley and Cottonwood Fire will host a car seat clinic at Station 31 on Godard Road off Highway-260. Parents are encouraged to stop by to have their car seats installed, ask questions about car seat safety, or simply check to see if their car seat is installed properly. You must have the child with you to assure that they are in an appropriate seat for their size. The clinic will run from 8-to-noon. They will have some car seats available to replace broken or inadequate car seats for those who are unable to afford a new one.
