YCSO issued a sex offender notification for residents living in the 21,000 block of North El Rocko Lane in Paulden. In 2002, on numerous occasions, 54-year-old Clyde Walter Thomason, who was 39- at the time, attempted sexual conduct with a 6-year-old female who was known to him. Additionally, there are reports of multiple offenses occurring through 2001. Thomason is considered a level 2 offender or an intermediate risk to the community.
