The City of Prescott’s Peavine Trail has been partially closed due to significant storm damage. The main trail head, located off Sundog Ranch Road, just north of Prescott Lakes Parkway is closed indefinitely as city crews assess damage and work on a plan for restoration. Almost a quarter of a mile of the southern portion of the trail of the trail was damaged and washed out by recent heavy rainfalls, making the trail unsafe and inaccessible.
