The Verde Valley Fire Chiefs Association is poised to roll out the new Pulse Point Respond App. Officials say in the event of sudden cardiac arrest, app users that have indicated they are trained in CPR and are willing to assist in case of an emergency are notified if someone nearby needs life saving measures. They say community bystanders who are trained and ready to assist can help first responders save more lives from cardiac arrest. The app is due to come online in August. More information on Pulse Point can be found at VVFCA.org.
