Monsoon showers hit the town of Jerome hard Wednesday. Fire Chief Rusty Blair says a storm brought significant rainfall and crews are still working to clear the roads of mud, rocks and other debris. Blair says several huge boulders landed in the roadway requiring the use of heavy equipment. Motorists traveling in the area are asked to use caution. Now that the ground is saturated, rock slides, landslides and flooding will become more common.
