Cottonwood Fire and Medical responded to a vehicle fire Monday evening in the 100 block of South Main Street. Officials say upon arrival, crews found a parked car fully involved in flames. They say the fire had then spread to an adjacent vehicle. Crews were able to extinguish the fire with minimal damage to the second vehicle, the first suffered significant damage. The exact cause of the fire is unknown, though officials say it started in the engine compartment.
