The Town of Chino Valley is evaluating conditions each day leading up to their planned 4-th of July Fireworks Display. Town officials say staff and volunteers are working to make sure the July 4-th event will be safe for the public. Central Arizona Fire reminds the public that although you can legally purchase fireworks, there’s nowhere in Yavapai County that they can legally be used. Cottonwood and Prescott Valley will also move forward with their fireworks displays; Flagstaff and Prescott have canceled their shows due to extreme fire danger.
