Thursday afternoon, Prescott Valley Police responded to a home on East Leigh Drive on a report of an 18-year old not breathing. Spokesman Jerry Ferguson says officers found the young man, Jared Friederick, on the floor of his home. Officers immediately conducted appropriate first aid procedures until Central Arizona Fire arrived on scene and took over medical treatment. Jared was then transported to the Yavapai Regional Medical Center East Campus where he was pronounced deceased. Ferguson says PANT responded to the house to continue the investigation at which time they found saleable quantities of illegal drugs. Arrested were Rick Alexander Arellano and Lester Sutter, both 18-years of age. The investigation continues.
