Crews have begun to lay the sod at Clarkdale Town Park. It’s the final step of the restoration project that began earlier this year as part of the United Verde Soil Program. The sod will take 4 weeks to set at which time the park will be reopened to the public. A grand re-opening celebration is still planned for June 23-rd from 6-to-7-pm with a Concert in the Park from 7-to-9-pm. Three other parks in the town will go through the same soil remediation work.
