Saturday, the Navajo County Sherriff’s Office cited a man for reckless burning. A deputy responded to a home on Pinedale Road regarding a fire. The deputy made contact with 40-year old Lee Mason of Mesa who told the deputy he had shot off a toy rocket, which was the cause of the fire. Mason was issued a criminal citation and released on scene.
