DPS along with Verde Valley Fire responded to two vehicle rear end collision Sunday evening on Highway 260 between East Godard Road and Del Rio Drive. DPS Trooper Kameron Lee says the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident, 33-year old Michael Brooks, of Chino Valley, fled the scene but was located down the highway a short distance from the original collision. Lee says Brooks was arrested and booked for DUI. No one was injured in the crash. West Bound 260 was shut down for about an hour.
