According to the Prescott Valley Tribune Hector Alejandro Miranda was sentenced to 30 years in prison for second degree murder, burglary and kidnapping last Wednesday, one day before his 19th birthday. Miranda was 17 when he shot 24-year-old Rimrock resident, Jared Rogers in October of 2016 in his home. Miranda went into the hospital for a gunshot wound to the leg after the incident where he was apprehended by police.
