Just before 9am this morning, Verde Valley Fire responded to a two vehicle accident on Highway 260 between East Goddard and Del Rio Drive. Chief Nazih Hazime says a truck came to rest in a ditch off the highway after being struck by a semi. He says both drivers, the sole occupants of the vehicles, refused medical treatment. Hazime says Highway 260 Eastbound was close for approximately 10 minutes.
